W maleńkiej świętokrzyskiej wiosce Bejsce, 10 km od Kazimierzy Wielkiej, w otoczeniu ogromnego, zabytkowego parku położony jest Dom Pomocy Społecznej przeznaczony jest dla 75 osób (kobiet i mężczyzn) dorosłych niepełnosprawnych intelektualnie. Zabudowania DPS to m. in. zabytkowy Pałac w Bejscach, zaprojektowany przez jednego z najwybitniejszych architektów polskiego klasycyzmu – Jakuba Kubickiego, wybudowany w 1802 roku przez Marcina Badeni. Część mieszkalna znajduje się w pomieszczeniach pałacowych – stanowią je eleganckie i funkcjonalne pokoje jedno, dwu i trzy osobowe, każdy z dostępem do pełnego węzła sanitarnego. Oprócz pokoi w Domu znajdują się liczne pomieszczenia wspólnego użytku – w tym sale spotkań, zaplecze terapeutyczne, rehabilitacyjne, gabinety opieki medycznej, stołówka, świetlice. Najbliższe otoczenie Domu to piękny, zabytkowy park, z licznymi alejami spacerowymi, miejscami wypoczynku i cichymi zakątkami, świetnymi do spotkań i pasjonujących rozmów. W wiosce Bejsce znajdują się sklepy, urząd pocztowy, punkty usługowe, itp., wszystko co jest potrzebne do załatwienia okazjonalnych spraw. Dalsze okolice to bezkresne pola uprawne.
